JC Moulding manufactures all mould tools in-house using advanced CNC machining, turning and spark erosion, supported by fully integrated CAD/CAM and 3D rapid prototyping. They can design and model parts from anything as simple as a sketch or concept. Continuous investment in modern technology allows them to produce aluminium or steel tools to suit different budgets, delivering full production moulds in significantly reduced times, with thousands of tools on site and new ones produced weekly.

Tooling

A wide range of plastics can be moulded, including PP, PVC, PA6, PA66, ABS, PU and numerous TPEs commonly used as rubber alternatives. With UK based masterbatch manufacturers JC Moulding have access to an extensive choice of colours and additives, even for small production runs. A bespoke, modern granulation line enables all sprues, runners and waste material to be reprocessed in-house, reducing scrap and maintaining a strong competitive advantage.

Materials

With 25 modern injection moulding machines and a growing fleet, clamping forces from 25 to 250 tonnes allow production of components ranging from a gram up to 1 kg. A continuous machine replacement programme ensures high levels of accuracy and energy efficiency, keeping production unit costs extremely competitive worldwide at JC Moulding.

Plant

A comprehensive range of services is offered, including product testing using modern equipment to measure key mechanical properties. Skilled assembly staff can assemble components, supply parts kits and provide individual packaging using automated bagging and labelling systems. Rapid prototyping is available through 3D printing and FDM technologies, producing accurate proof-of-concept and functional parts in rigid plastics and TPEs that closely match the final product. Extensive warehouse facilities also allow parts to be stored for immediate despatch and next-day delivery
